December through March are considered to be the peak months for neglecting sound health habits. It is during this period, that a health plan should be followed to help you feel your best during the summer months. The following are a few habits, which you may need to modify. Concerning your sleeping habits, if you sleep too little it could run you down and increase your chances for the flu. Too much sleep, on the other hand, acts like insufficient energy, 7 hours of sleep is a good norm. Poor nutritional habits like a diet high in animal fats, lead to high cholesterol levels. So avoid these if possible. During the winter months you may exercise less often, buts it’s important to exercise 2 or 3 times a week. Slacking in exercise can affect your digestive system and lead to weight gain; well-balanced meals are a better substitute. Drinking excessive can deplete your energy level and smoking definitely increases your chance of ill health, as well as those around you. Trying just one new habit below can help you immensely.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Avoid the nibbling habit on junk food being you’re an impulsive Sun Sign. Take along raw vegetables to munch on. Try to relax your body before you go to sleep by taking 10 minutes to look out the window and clear your mind of the daily stresses, you’ll sleep much better.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Since Taurus has a tendency toward obesity, try to watch the foods high in fat. Excessive red meat should be avoided; try to eat more fish and fowl. Also, watch the gourmet foods which you to eat; your diet should contain more of the essential foods rather then the thick sauces.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You may involve in too many mental pursuits and not get enough exercise in the winter months. Remember, mind and body need equal time. One possibility can be a quiet walk to a park or neighborhood, which will give you the exercise you need to clear your mind. You can always bundle up.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): Sweets may be your problem during the winter cycle; Try to stick to natural treats like fruits or juices. Exercise is important so home equipment is not a bad investment to look in to.

LEO (July 23-Aug-22): Your sign rules the heart, so daily make time for personal relaxation. Investing in a treadmill, but using it, helps the circulatory.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22): Sound sleep habits help you rest your tendency to overtax your fine intellect. Too many intellectual pursuits, waiting for summer can make you mentally tired and moody. Purchase a good meditation book.

LIBRA (Sept 23-Oct 22): Drink a certain amount of water each day to keep your system and kidneys cleaned out. Although you need to avoid excessive liquids that involve caffeine or a high sugar content.

SCORPIO (Oct 23- Nov 21): Represses feelings and letting emotions build a re common during the winter months with you. Have a person you can talk to and get your exercise in.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21): A person who has to be physically on the move, its important to fuel your body along the way. Take snacks with you. Confinements of winter should make an exercise bike part of your home furnishings.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19): You have a tendency to become too serous with your goals in the winter months and stress can increase. Make a weekly list of fun things to do and also do some of them where you can rest a little like visiting a spa and using the hot tub.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18): Your circulatory system has to be catered to so watch your sugars and salts in snacking. Try eating more natural sugar foods like oranges, raisins, or fruit juices.

PISCES (Feb 19-Mar 20): You are the least likely to exercise of all the Sun Signs. Its important for you to be involved in some type of activity to help you diminish your tendency to worry which can be highest in the winter months. Ten you feel depleted when spring arrives. Meditation is a fine substitute. Also walk 3-4 times a week.
